In the course of their missionary travel, monks encountered different ways of life that influenced them and accompanied them back to their spiritual home. Thus the diverse interior styles in our guest rooms and suites.

We love it here:

Contrast and harmony, inspiration and knowledge, quiet and strength, form and emotion, color and nature. Thirty-four rooms, tastefully appointed in diverse styles, including three suites and two expansive fitness rooms. Single or double rooms in Mediterranean-, Shaker-, Asian- or African-design or experience our Monastery and Pilgrim rooms in unique design.

Taking pleasure in the simple things of life and in our relationships, as well as a readiness to learn and laugh – this is important to us. Cloister life was quite cosmopolitan and today, our décor and our philosophy reflect that.

Our guest rooms and suites are spacious and the interior decoration has been done with exquisite detailing. The finest of materials, distinct forms and dramatic hues lend to every room and suite its own personal charm.

Monastery "cells" and Pilgrim rooms

Remise, a sanctuary to unwind. The Monastery and Pilgrim rooms were created with our history and guest wishes in mind. Kloster Hornbach marks the final Palatinate station along the Way of St. James. Our comfortable rooms offer pilgrims and guests an environment of peace and reflectivity. Immerse in the singular atmosphere of these rooms, far removed from the distractions of daily life. Browse in selected literary works and open mind and soul to the serenity of a former monastery where TV, phones and Internet are far removed.
