Dessert cooking classes with Olivier Fabing 2013

Today the offer of cooking classes is multifaceted. But it is not easy to find cooking-classes where you can learn or improve your skills in preparing the often called most difficult part of a meal – the desert.

Olivier Fabing  is known far beyond our area and he has collected and improved desert recipes from the „in-places“ and top-restaurants in Paris. With his French roots Olivier knows the secrets of fine pastry and elegant deserts and he is happy to share this knowledge with you. His preferred  ingredient  is chocolate and you will find out why – and you will love it!

Your arrival should be before 11 a.m. so you can start the day of your „sweet lecture“ with Olivier Fabing and the other „trainees“ with a snack and an introduction about the schedule of the day. You will start to learn and  practice together at noon. In the afternoon at around 5 p.m. you will be much more artful in your skills to cook a desert and the little delicious artworks can be admired  - no tasting at this time.

After a short relaxation in your nicely designed and comfortable  room or a walk in our Monastery garden you are invited  to enjoy the sparkling aperitif with Olivier and your „desert-fellows“.  This is the prelude for a following four-course dinner prepared by our experienced team and the corresponding tasteful wines and water. The highlight of the dinner will be – you will easily guess – the deserts prepared by you and your „classmates“.

If you do not wish to overnight, the cooking course costs € 168,00. An escort may join for dinner only at the cost of € 83,00
