Rumour has it that a vampire is on the loose, and that it is none other than John Stockton, heir to the old St. Claires family estate. When he hosts a sumptuous dinner to which half the village is invited, it isn’t long before a blood-curdling scream heralds a horrific murder. How fortunate that Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson are amongst the guests, and they immediately launch an investigation. Is a supernatural bloodsucker really on the loose in Lamberley, or has a thoroughly mundane culprit struck?
