This room grew out of exactly those feelings: quiet and cosy, relaxing, and inspiring. Many of the books are gifts from regular guests who felt their favourite simply belonged here. Others found their way on the recommendation of Sabine, who has given this little suite her personal touch. Some books leave with our guests – because a story that good simply can’t be put down. But new ones keep arriving, brought by people who love reading. Just like you.
The inspiration behind this room: Sabine Reinert. A true daughter of Hamburg, she grew up between the printing presses of the Hamburger Abendblatt newspaper and countless books. Her greatest pleasure: reading with something sweet close at hand.
